Bass Edge® kicks off Season 3 filming in Texas

 

The Bass Edge® television show (www.bassedge.com) will launch its third season of filming April 7-9 on Caddo Lake, Texas. In this first episode, to be aired in 2009 across the United States and Canada, host Aaron Martin will be joined by Scott Suggs. The pro angler took home bass fishing’s biggest prize by winning the $1 million Forrest L. Wood Cup purse in 2007.

 

"It’s not only going to be great getting back out on the water and back together with the crew, but I am especially excited about going to Caddo," Martin said. “I’ve never fished any water like it, with all the cypress trees and bayous. I’m fired up.”

 

Suggs will be new to Caddo, too, but is familiar with fishing around cypress.  “We’ll have to wait and see what kind of bait they’re in the mood for.  I’m looking forward to working with the show and excited about seeing what goes on behind the scenes.  Everything is a learning experience,” said Suggs.

 

The Caddo Lake episode will be the first of 13 shows that takes the Bass Edge® crew across the U.S., from Florida to California. Each week, Martin is joined by a top pro. The third season includes Denny Brauer, Boyd Duckett, Dave Wolak, Jared Lintner, Pam Martin-Wells, Pete Ponds and James Niggemeyer. The shows are produced in high definition, supported by state-of-the-art animation, targeting anglers of all levels with the fundamentals and finer points of bass fishing.
